Legal regulation of online publications in Ukraine: challenges and development prospects

Abstract
This article is dedicated to examining the legal regulation of online publications in Ukraine. With the rapid advancement of digital technologies and the growing role of online media, there is a pressing need to enhance the legislative framework governing their activities. The paper analyses the normative and legal framework in Ukraine concerning the regulation of online publications, identifies the main challenges faced by Ukrainian online media, such as issues related to copyright protection, liability for the dissemination of false information, and the safeguarding of freedom of speech. Additionally, it explores the prospects for the development of legal regulation in this sphere, including potential legislative changes and the impact of international experience on shaping national norms.
