Review of the Collection of Scientific Papers "Scientific Works of the National Aviation University. Series: Legal Bulletin 'Air and Space Law'"

Abstract

The journal "Scientific Works of the National Aviation University. Series: Legal Bulletin 'Air and Space Law'" is a peer-reviewed legal journal that publishes original scientific and review articles by authors from various countries on current issues in modern legal science. The priority objectives of this publication are: the publication of research results aimed at expanding and modernizing scientific studies in the field of legal science, the qualitative growth of professional skills of legal practitioners, involving practicing lawyers in the discussion and resolution of important issues in all branches of jurisprudence, the exchange of scientific experience and the promotion of domestic scientific achievements, the introduction of the latest methods for teaching legal disciplines, and the integration of Ukrainian legal science and education into the global educational and research space.

Considering the specific nature of scientific research related to the training of lawyers for the aerospace industry, the scientific journal has dedicated a section where research results in the field of international space law, international air law, and national legislation on legal regulation of aviation and space activities are published, aligning with its thematic focus.

The purpose of this publication is to publish authorial materials of scientific-theoretical and practical nature, judicial and law enforcement activities aimed at the development of Ukrainian national legal science, improvement of current legislation, promotion of legal sciences at Ukrainian and global levels; assistance in enhancing the competence of legal professionals; dissemination of experience and knowledge of leading specialists in the legal field; adoption and integration of advanced legal practices from other countries into Ukraine's legal system; establishment of collaborative partnerships with international scientific publishing organizations.

The journal is an officially registered, continuously published, peer-reviewed open access scientific publication indexed in international bibliographic databases ICV 2022 (Index Copernicus) and registered in the Google Scholar citation database. Additionally, the collection of scientific papers "Scientific Works of the National Aviation University. Series: Legal Bulletin 'Air and Space Law'" has been classified as a category B scientific professional publication according to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 409 dated March 17, 2020, "On approval of decisions of the certification board of the ministry regarding the formation of the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine as of March 6, 2020."

The editorial board includes leading scholars from Ukraine and foreign countries, including 8 doctors of law from the Law Faculty of the National Aviation University, 1 doctor of law from other institutions, as well as 14 international scholars and experts in various fields of law.

The editorial policy of the journal is based on the following principles: objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high standards for the quality of scientific research; mandatory peer-review of articles; collegiality in decision-making regarding publication of articles; accessibility and prompt communication with authors; strict adherence to copyright regulations. The primary criteria for selecting materials for publication are originality and relevance of ideas, as well as the scientific and factual credibility of the presented material.

Additionally, the journal adheres to an open access policy, supporting the principles of free dissemination of scientific information and global knowledge exchange for the advancement of society as a whole. Each article is assigned a DOI by the editorial board.
